I thought I had the only picture of 'Snowflight' my great grandfathers greyhound that won the Waterloo Cup in 1882. I have so much to tell you about Snowflight bought as a pet for my great aunts and uncles. Lived with them all on a farm just off the sand dunes and the beach. Lots of wonderful places to run free for miles in all directions and swim in the sea. I have a picture of Snowflight just after the win standing on the beach. My father doesn't like the picture and kept it in the loft. I now have the picture hanging proudly on my wall. I would love to have a copy of your picture as my father is very proud of the dog but can't bear to look at the picture I have.He says it always makes him think "Is that the best picture they could afford for such a special greyhound. Hope you can help me to answer his prayers and give him a picture of Snowflight he can hang on his wall and feel proud of. Excuse my terrible English, I was never good in foreign languages...Wonderful photos, especially of the black and blue dogs. In Germany, Show Greyhounds are not very popular, and the few ones are most parti-colour. I think, it's a little bit boring, always the same colour.... The racing scene is dominating, and racing ability is seen as a sign for healthness.
